RIS-Mersin (Regional Innovation Strategies of Mersin)
The RIS Mersin will be the first regional innovation strategy prepared in Turkey which will be inline with EU based policies and strategies. The success of the project will increase national awareness towards innovation strategies and EU policies within the people of Turkey.

The main objective of the project is to enhance the innovative potential of the small business community in the region. In order to achieve this main objective effectively and efficiently the existing knowledge and experience of the cooperation across Europe among regions is going to be strengthen.

IRC Anatolia - Innovation Relay Centre
The mission of Innovation Relay Centers (IRCs) is to facilitate innovation all around Europe with specialized business services which support the cross-border transfer of new technologies. These services are primarily targeted at technology-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), but they are also available to larger firms, research institutes, universities and technology centers.

Entrepreneur33
"Training of Young Innovative Entrepreneurs in Mersin Province Project" idea (short name Entrepreneur33) came up and develops with strategic goals of RIS-MERSIN like restoration of innovation system and culture in Mersin and promotion for entrepreneurs to invest on innovation. Entrepreneur 33 is the first step and one of the pilot projects of not only RIS-MERSIN but also “Integration of Sustainable Development In to Sectoral Policies” programme. Entrepreneur 33 is the first step of RIS-MERSIN to improve its strategic goals like providing dissemination of innovation culture and innovation based development and forming a finance mechanism for encouraging innovation in firms and encouraging entrepreneurs for innovative entrepreneurships. This project is coordinated by Mersin Chamber of Commerce & Industry with MEGİAD (Mersin Young Entrepreneurs Association) partnership.
