Mersin Technology Development Zone (Technoscope) was established in June 2005 in order to use the research-development (R&D) studies carried out by the university, industry and other institutions to develop new technologies and transfer them into the industrial production that will contribute to the competitive position of Mersin in both national and international levels.

Technoscope is founded to support the growth of high-tech companies and the constitution of enterpreneurial companies. To become a key actor in regional development, Technoscope aims to promote innovation and R&D practices through connecting businesses with university.

Technoscope Management Company

The legal entity responsible for the management and operation of the zone named as Mersin Technopark A.S. was set up on 23/02/2006. The zone actively operates since then.
